What would you do if you had 200 or so million? Would you buy yourself a tree fort in your yard (yea that Barenaked Ladies tree fort from the 90s got caught in this runaway housing market), or would you spend it on a James Bond spoof? Well we know what Apple did!
On this weeks' show we are talking the new film from Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman series). A James Bond parity that is suppose to kick of a new franchise for Apple.
Did it work? or did it fall flat like a fake British accent?

In a not so distant future, one man can make a difference and another man will show us that leather chaps and harnesses are not just for the BDSM club anymore.
On this week's show we are talking Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior), a film Roger Ebert called "a film of pure action, of kinetic energy", which is "one of the most relentlessly aggressive movies ever made".
Joining us to chat about this petrol fuelled extravaganza is Canadian filmmaker Gabriel Carrer. Gab knows a thing or two about action being the writer/director of genre films such as For the Sake of Vicious, Death on Scenic Drive, The Demolisher and many more.
So put on your best apocalyptic attire and tune into the show.
Gabriel Carrer is a film director and screenwriter who helmed the 2010 underground horror success If a Tree Falls (Raven Banner Entertainment), which premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival. He returned to Fantasia in 2015 with The Demolisher (Darksky Films), winning the Silver Audience Award, and gained acclaim at festivals worldwide (Vancouver International Film Festival, Sitges, Hardline, Toronto After Dark Film & Feratum). In 2021, he composed the score and co-directed the Shudder streaming exclusive film, For the Sake of Vicious (Epic Pictures). Carrer returned to Fantasia a third time for its world premiere and it continued to play a series of festivals such as Frightfest, Macabro, Hardline, Telluride Horror Show, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and Sitges. Other directing credits include In the House of Flies (2012), featuring punk rock icon Henry Rollins as "The Voice" and Death on Scenic Drive (2017).
Most of his films are now on TUBI to watch for free, such as “The Demolisher”, “Death on Scenic Drive” and “In the House of Flies” feat. Henry Rollins. For the Sake of Vicious is available for rent in most online shops.

We aren't giving away much in the summary because we want you to tune in but we will say this; just because you can write a screenplay doesn't necessarily mean you can direct (or write a book about it).
